Roswell’s Secret is the second book in Vannetta Chapman’s “Defending America” series. You do not have to have read the first book to enjoy this one.
Just like the first book in this series, the storyline could come straight from today’s headlines. The characters are well-defined and likeable; deeply patriotic and heroic. As they race to defend America from a crippling terrorist attack, the storyline grabs your attention and never lets go. The plot is detailed and suspenseful. I found myself so drawn into the story that I felt as if it could be happening in real time as I was reading.
This is a clean book with no bad language or embarrassing scenes. It’s a pleasure to read a well-written clean book in which the story doesn’t need any of the above to make it a great book. Vannetta Chapman is a master at writing mystery and suspense. Her readers will not be disappointed in any way by this book.
