My Review:
I’m going to give away a tiny glimpse of this book without it being a spoiler: I came to love the character of Sadie when she got stuck in the mud and could not get out. Sadie is upbeat; talks a lot; headstrong; and dearly loves teaching her students in the Amish school. She loves her father and wants to please him. However, she finds she cannot love the older Amish man her father has picked for her as a husband. Instead, as they work on the school building together, she finds herself falling in love with Levi. Levi makes it plain to Sadie that he is not looking for a wife, but he’s secretly drawn to Sadie’s upbeat personality. But Sadie being Sadie, she doesn’t give up hope that she’ll find her happily ever after.This is a fun, yet heart-touching, story of faith and finding the path that God has for you.I think you’ll enjoy reading Sadie’s story and path to her “happily-ever-after”.
