Introducing a NEW Day-votions® book from bestselling inspirational author and winner of the Serious Writer 2021 Book of the Decade, Rebecca Barlow Jordan.
God invites you to experience His faithfulness and longs to meet all your needs. Based on God’s attributes and activity, with truths drawn from His powerful Word, this devotional of intimate prayer conversations with your faithful Father will help you renew your hope, joy, peace, and trust in Him:
• The One Who Wipes Away Your Tears
• The One Who Calls You Priceless
• The One Who Calms Your Storms
• The One Who Holds Your Future
Each chapter includes intimate prayers with God, a daily truth to remember and a focal Bible verse, additional Scripture verses written out for Bible study and reflection, study questions and personal applications to challenge you, and a page to journal answers, thoughts, and prayers.
In this 90-day spiritual and devotional encounter, men, women, and older teens will find encouragement to:
• Release your worries, anxieties, and fears into God’s hands.
• Reassure you of God’s forgiveness, acceptance, and unconditional love.
• Rest your body, mind, and spirit and fill you with inner peace.
• Reaffirm God’s care for you and His desire to meet all your needs.
• Revitalize your relationship with God as you understand His heart and experience His intimate presence.
Whether you use Day-votions with Your Faithful Father as an inspirational prayer devotional, prayer book, journal, or an individual or small group Bible study, you’ll see God’s fingerprints on every page. Come needy. You will never know how faithful God is until you experience Him for yourself.

My Review:
“Our faithful Father wants to meet our deepest needs, whether we classify the need as more of Him, or as a concern in critical areas of our lives on earth…He’s faithful not because He may answer our prayers favorably, or because He works things out eventually. He is faithful in His activities because He is faithful to His very names(s)—-just because of who He is.” (quote from the book, page 17.)
There’s nothing better to help strengthen our own faith than for us to closely focus on God’s faithfulness in our lives. With this book, author Rebecca Barlow Jordan helps us take a 90 day look at God’s faithfulness in many different situations. Many, if not all, of these devotions will be applicable to each one of us. The topics are varied, but these devotions cover many circumstances that we’ve likely walked through at some point in our lives.
I love the format of these devotions. Each day has a section called “From Your Faithful Father’s Heart”. In this section, the author paraphrases scripture to help us see God’s love and concern from us. (Note: In the introduction to the book, she makes it very clear that these are NOT words she’s heard God speak to her audibly.) In the next section entitled “From a Grateful Heart”, she shares a prayer to God. There are scripture passages that focus on each day’s thought; a “Daily Truth” statement; and a “Daily Challenge”. The print book also has a place for journaling your response to the day’s devotions.
I’m looking forward to the encouragement I’m going to receive as I work my way through this book.

FROM THE AUTHOR:
I fell in love with books and words about the same time as I fell in love with Jesus–as an elementary school girl. But it was after I received my MRS degree and my PHT (putting hubby through) that I knew God wanted me to write. As an inspirational author for over 35 years, I feel extremely blessed. In fact, because I love writing so much, I used to feel guilty for receiving payment. But I got over that.
I also have a deep passion for marriage and family. In the spring when I’m not meeting a writing deadline, you might find me spreading mulch in our multiple perennial gardens or trying to snag another eight-pound bass on a Texas lake with my high school sweetheart—my minister husband with whom I’m still madly in love. At any time of the year, I love curling up on the back porch swing with my Bible and coffee, as well as reading a great Christian fiction book or spending time with our two daughters and sons-in-law and four grandchildren. And I especially love praying with my Heavenly Father for the needs of others.
Readers from over 170 countries/territories have visited my e-home where I blog at https://www.rebeccbarlowjordan.com. In my weekly blog posts I often write as a mentor with years of marriage, family, and ministry experience (and hopefully wisdom). But most of the time I write about faith and the spiritual life. Some of my blog topics include the ways God speaks to us, prayers for our deepest needs, discovering God’s plan for our lives, and finding faith and courage in our most difficult times. I love to help others see God bigger–through His names and character–and how knowing Him more intimately can give them the tools they need to help make their lives all that God wants them to be. In my blog, I love to offer the same kind of heart to heart encouragement that fills my cards, devotions, and books.
