My Review:
Vannetta Chapman never disappoints me with her books, and I especially loved the characters in this first book of a new series. The Yoder sisters each have their own distinct personalities. Even though this book focuses mainly on Becca, I felt as if I’d come to know the other sisters as well.
This book has some entertaining moments between Becca Yoder and Gideon Fisher. I always love an “opposites attract” type of story, and the sparks that fly back and forth between Becca and Gideon kept me either smiling or sighing as they finally came to know and appreciate each other. The author did a wonderful job of combining an entertaining story with a deeper spiritual issue of trusting God at all times, even when you can’t understand how or where He is leading. I’m so glad that there’s more to come about these families in this series. There’s some great reading ahead!
