My Review:
Author Wanda Brunstetter has centered these devotions on the topic of healing. The book is divided into three sections discussing healing for “Emotional scars”; “Relationships”;” Exhaustion”; “Lies and Manipulation”; “Codependent Healing”; and “Things Don’t Go the Way You Thought They Would”. Each day’s entry includes a scripture, devotional thoughts, and a short prayer.
While these devotions will not take the place of a Bible study, they are thoughtfully written and can provide encouragement when times and relationships are difficult. I’ve marked several of these to return to and spend extra time thinking on the thoughts in these devotions.
This book would make a beautiful gift for a friend or family member who is struggling with healing.
I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
