My Review:
I love books that are “real”.
Nikki Hardy has given us a very personal look at her journey through sorrow in the loss of her mother and sister, and then her own personal battle with cancer. I liked this author’s writing style because she was very frank and open about her own emotions and spiritual journey. I liked the fact that she uses Scripture and gives some very specific ways to battle depression and discouragement during times of heartache and trouble. She consistently turns the reader back to God as the true source of hope and strength. I’d recommend this book to anyone who is facing a serious health issue, or to anyone who is praying someone through a time of trouble. I know that I learned much from this book about their viewpoint, and that God will use Nikki Hardy’s sharing of story in my own life.
