PUBLISHER DESCRIPTION

Can true love find a way?

The Amish Christmas Secret by Vannetta Chapman:

Becca Schwartz’s curiosity is going to be a problem. When Amish secret millionaire Daniel Glick moves to Shipshewana for seclusion, he doesn’t expect his pretty new neighbor to ask so many questions. Or to be so generous, despite her family’s poverty. As Daniel falls for Becca, his secret looms between them. This Christmas, can he finally give her the truth…and his heart?

The Amish Widow’s Christmas Hope by Carrie Lighte:

After inheriting her uncle’s house, single mother Fern Glick returns to Serenity Ridge with the intention to sell and leave town quickly. But her reluctance to settle so close to former love Walker Huyard—the man who broke her heart—begins to falter as their children forge a bond. With Christmas approaching, spending the holiday together might just be enough to reignite the love they once shared.

My Review:
These two books are previously published books, so please be aware of that before you purchase them. I had already read and reviewed the book by Vannetta Chapman, but I had not read the one by Carrie Lighte.  I also loved Carrie’s book, and I’m glad that I had the opportunity to read it.

Written by two very talented authors, these stories completely touched my heart.  Both books are very well written.  The characters in each book face challenges in which the solutions aren’t clear and the way forward seems almost impossible.  What I loved best about both books is the theme of faith, hope, and love that’s in each storyline.  Buying both of these wonderful stories in one volume is quite a bargain.  I’m glad to have this one on my shelf to read during Christmas seasons in the future.

If you’ve never read books by either Vannetta Chapman or Carrie Lighte, this book is a good introduction to their work.  As with most Love Inspired books, I wish the stories were longer, but both of these authors made their stories seem complete without rushing the endings.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.  All opinions are my own.
