My Review:
I loved this devotional book. While I was reading it, I felt as if I were sitting with a small group of good friends and discussing how God had worked in the details of our lives that week. I enjoyed how these authors shared their own stories and the way each devotion directed our thoughts towards God and His goodness in our lives.
Each day’s devotion opens with a scripture verse; includes a quote that has to do with that day’s emphasis; a story from the author’s own experiences; and a checklist of thoughtful things that we can do to see God at work in our own lives. Reading one of these devotions each day won’t take the place of your daily Bible reading, but it would be an encouraging beginning to the day and a reminder to be watchful in how God works in even the small details of our lives each day. I loved this collection and hope these ladies write another book together soon.
