My Review:

I’ve read and enjoyed many of the Love Inspired Suspense books.  I’d rank this book in the top ten of those that I’ve read.

I love the fact that although there’s quite a bit of mystery/action/suspense in this one, the author does an excellent job of pacing the storyline and allows the reader to get to know the characters of Mackenzie, Gabe, and Ben very well.  These books, because of their format, are generally a little shorter than a full-length novel, but the author told this story so well that I felt as if the story was complete and not rushed in any way. The only drawback to the book was that there wasn’t an epilogue to give us one last look at these characters.

There’s no indication that this is part of a series, but I’d love to see another book with these same characters.  As with this author’s books, she incorporates a theme of faith and hope that always leaves the reader with a spiritual principle to think about.

I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher.  All  opinions are my own.
