Can Christmas bring two hurting souls together and spark a new love?
Christmas is Anne Eicher’s favorite time of year. She not only loves the joy of the season, but the baking and festivities around the holiday as well. But facing another year alone isn’t what she had planned.
So, when she receives a mysterious letter from a secret admirer, she must decide if she’s willing to take another chance at love.
Deep inside Andy’s soul burns an admiration for Anne Eicher. He’s never known anyone like her. She’s exactly what his heart craves—someone whose love is genuine, faithful, and true. Unlike her sister who dropped him the instant Glen Kauffman returned to the community.
Andy Stoltzfus doesn’t think he stands a chance with the eldest Eicher sister, though, so he devises a plan to win her heart—and her hand.
But what happens when his plan backfires?
A sweet faith-filled holiday story that will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart!
My Review:
I loved the storyline of this book: Andy Stoltzfus loves Anne Eicher, but some difficult personal circumstances make Andy wonder if Anne will accept his courtship. He decides to begin courting her by sending her anonymous love letters. The letters that go back and forth between them were sweet, and it was fun watching their relationship grow through their correspondence. It becomes more difficult for Andy to protect his letter-writing identity, and things don’t always go the way that either Andy or Anne envision. Both will need to rely on their faith as they trust God for guidance as to where their relationship will lead.
I enjoyed reading Andy and Anne’s story. Their care for others, especially family, was heart-touching. Even though this book has a Christmas setting, it’s a beautiful story that can be read at any time of the year. It’s a reminder that God is always working in our lives in ways that we might never expect.
I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
