My Review:
I enjoyed reading this contemporary Christmas collection of three stories that describe a very special Christmas in Moreau, Louisiana. Three talented authors put this collection together, and although you could tell each author’s individual style, all three stories flowed very well together. I liked the main character in each story, and there was plenty of sweet, clean romance to help add to the Christmas spirit in each story. There’s a sprinkling of faith all throughout the book, and it was fun seeing how the characters learned to trust God in their particular circumstances. The stories have a very definite “Louisiana” setting and style, which added to the charm of the story. There’s strong family ties in this book, and I know you’ll enjoy following the romances of Mattie, Jolene, and Adele. You will also love Granny, whose match-matching efforts helped all the ladies in this book find their love and laughter.
