I am so impressed with this lovely book. The hardback cover is beautiful, both front and back.
The photography that accompanies each day’s reading is eye-catching.
However, it’s the contents that shine in this book. Each day highlights a name of Jesus. There’s a Scripture passage that introduces the name; a short definition and explanation of the name; a prayer that highlights the meaning of what we’ve read; and a question to think on as you go through the day. Simple, but heartwarming and effective. Dian Cotton has done a great job of putting this all together in a seamless devotion for each day.
This is not a book to replace your daily Bible study, but would be a great devotion with which to begin or end your day. I am adding it to the beginning of my Bible study each day.
Such a lovely book makes a great gift. I’m sure that I’ll be passing along several of these myself.
